Surgery Center RN in Medford, OR- Must be Fully Vaccinated by Oct. 18th

Please Note: All healthcare workers are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in the state of Oregon by October 18, 2021.

Medical Eye Center is a trusted provider of comprehensive eye care in Southern Oregon and the surrounding area. Our practice specializes in LASIK, cataracts, oculoplastics, and more. We are committed to customer service and making every interaction extraordinary while inspiring the complete confidence of our patients. Our employees contribute directly to the growth and success of our practice and take pride in being a member of our team. We strongly believe that the manner in which our patients are treated by our employees is as important as the services provided by the doctor.

Working alongside our surgeons and collaborating with our care team, our RNs ensure that each patient feels seen, heard, and genuinely cared for throughout their surgical journey. Our RNs keep our operations running smoothly and care for our patients with medical expertise and compassionate, human connection.

The ideal candidate is organized, attentive to details, has outstanding communication skills, and above all, is compassionate. This person will work directly with patients in pre and post-operative settings as well as intra-operative care and circulating in the operating room. He/she will interview patients, collect and review medical and health information, monitor vital signs, carry out treatment plans, assist with patient positioning, provide support to the surgical team, ensure asepsis of field and technique, and coordinate communication and care elements with other team members and patient family members.

Although we prefer experience in an outpatient or same-day surgery center, post-anesthesia care, or critical care, we are willing to train a less experienced RN with the skills and attributes that we value.

Many of our employees have made a career out of this role. MEC offers a 401K matching program, great health benefits (excellent vision benefits), continuing education, a discount program to Renew Medical Spa, and company-sponsored personal development opportunities.
