UK Energy Leader, LATAM
Join Aon's prestigious Reinsurance Facultative Broking team as a UK Energy Leader, supporting our UK LATAM Power Generation portfolio. This hybrid role, based in our London office, offers the flexibility to work both onsite and remotely.

What Will Your Day Look Like?
As an UK Energy Leader, you'll play a key role in delivering expert facultative reinsurance solutions. Your day-to-day will include:

• Contribute to the growth strategy and plan for energy accounts with in Latin American.
• Define marketing strategy (specific to placement) by advising on placement design, coverage options, market capacity, pricing trends, and strategic improvements.
• Collaborating with colleagues and clients on a range of energy facultative reinsurance placements.
• Establish and manage a UK energy pipeline.
• Responsible for developing UK Latam strategy & goals for client portfolio.
• Support and help build up Latam local strategy UK. And business development.
• Be part of the response team to tenders or new business structures development, where UK team service is required.
• Supporting the development and delivery of compelling market presentations and broking strategies
• Identify and develop optimal placement channels aligned with client guidelines and influencing market outcomes
• Ensuring compliance with Aon's Risk Management Framework and policies, including mandatory training and risk mitigation activities
• Serve major projects and clients during operational phase and/or comprehensive placements in its different phases.
• Handle placements for new major energy projects in the region, working with the Latam team.
• Oversee technical resource within team for placement, policy wordings and related matters
• Assist Department Head with business development strategy for acquiring new projects, develop new products.
• Work with team members and support them in achievement of the Latam team goals and objectives.
• Reports to the UK Natural Resources Latam.
• Building relationships with the Aon network offices in the Latam region, supporting the development and growth of energy business.
• Broker endorsements and renewals, identifying appropriate channels for risk placement based on clients' market security guidelines and other requirements

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• Strong technical understanding of client needs and the reinsurance market
• Minimum 10 years working experience in reinsurance broking or similar field with experience in handling major projects involving Energy clients.
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
• Experience with Latam reinsurance market.
• Confident networker with deep industry connections
• Skilled in sales and marketing within the insurance sector
• Analytical mindset with demonstrated data interpretation capabilities.
• Collaborating with colleagues and clients on a range of Energy facultative reinsurance placements.
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with the ability to work unsupervised on day to day matters
