The A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University is seeking applicants for a non-tenure system faculty position (Visiting Professor of Practice in Management Science). This is a full-time one-year appointment in the School’s Management Science area. The position starts July 1, 2026. Salary, teaching load, and benefits are commensurate with other major research institutions. Hiring for this position is subject to final budgetary approval by the university. Visiting Professors of Practice teach rigorous and engaging undergraduate and/or graduate courses across different teaching modalities (with a focus on experiential learning), and remain current and relevant in one’s teaching field through professional and/or scholarly engagement activities.

Qualifications
Candidates are expected to be either professionally qualified (i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Management Science or a related field and a substantial record of recent professional experience) or academically qualified (i.e., Ph.D. in Management Science and actively engaged in scholarly and/or professional engagement activities). We seek collegial candidates with demonstrated excellence in communication skills and/or success in classroom teaching, and experience with experiential learning. Candidates should have expertise in AI-powered data exploration/data mining, using Excel, R, and Python, and in data visualization, using Tableau and Power BI.
