We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a VP RBWM Risk AND Control RBWM CCO.

In this role you will:

Impact on the Business / Function

• Lead the implementation and maintenance of robust Business Risk Control frameworks within IWPB, ensuring alignment with global standards and quality assurance protocols
• Advise IWPB teams on compliance with internal and external directives, including those from Compliance, Operational Risk, Information Security, and Business Continuity
• Safeguard the Bank and IWPB against operational losses, both tangible and reputational, through proactive risk management
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations for Risk Management Meetings and Management Forums
• Act as the primary liaison for IWPB with Second Line of Defence functions, supporting senior management on compliance and operational risk issues
• Provide technical guidance to IWPB teams, collaborating with Regulatory Compliance, Legal, Financial Crime, Information Security, and Resilience Risk stakeholders
• Drive a culture of strict compliance and operational risk awareness across IWPB, integrating business and customer perspectives
• Utilise operational risk tools (RCA, CMA, HELIOS, dashboards) to monitor, assess, and mitigate risks, ensuring effective control monitoring programmes are in place

To be successful you will need:

• Experience in operational risk and controls, ideally within technical or front-line risk roles
• Strong knowledge of the Group's Operational Risk Framework, with emphasis on Cyber and Information Security
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of developing innovative and lateral solutions
• Advanced communication and stakeholder management abilities, with proven influencing skills
• Capacity to prioritise tasks and operate independently under pressure within a collaborative team environment
• Up-to-date understanding of regulatory changes and their impact on business risk and control functions
