Salary: $26.94-$35.03/hour based on qualifications
We’re seeking a water professional with operational and instructional experience who will
- Manage program logistics, curriculum, documentation, and data in accordance with Orange County Utilities, Orange County Public Schools, and regulatory requirements
- Mentor and advise students with exam prep, career guidance, and post-graduation transition support
- Supervise apprentices and trainees in real-time operational environments to maintain safety and process standards and support strategic workforce development
- Serve as licensed technical operator during non-instructional periods

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Six years of experience as a licensed Class B or higher Water or Wastewater Operator
- Possess and maintain a Florida DEP Class A or B Water or Wastewater Operator license
- Out-of-state applicants: FDEP offers reciprocity for qualifying licenses. Candidates should initiate the reciprocity process as early as possible to allow sufficient time for approval. All required licensure must be in place by the first day of employment.
- Possess a valid Florida driver’s license and be able to pass the Orange County Public Schools Level II background check
