Description

Our client is a CMS licensed wealth and asset manager that is looking to make a strategic hire in the compliance team. This will be a critical role responsible for advising the business on regulatory compliance and AML requirements.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Keep abreast of regulatory developments and ensure compliance policies and internal controls are up to date and robust
• End-to-end AML coverage across AML/KYC assessment, advising the business on AML risks and ensuring adequate controls are in place.
• Assist the Head of Compliance on wider regulatory compliance matters such as licensing requirements/maintenance, keeping up to date on the CMSL regulatory regime and act as a back up point of contact with regulators such as MAS.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

• At least 10 years of compliance experience ideally from the wealth or asset management industry.
• Familiar with CMS license regulatory requirements.
• Fluent in Chinese Mandarin as the role will require interaction with Chinese stakeholders and reading of documentation in Chinese.
