Description
We are looking for a Full Time skilled SCADA & Industrial Software Engineer near Alpharetta, GA or Odessa, FL, to support industrial automation software projects involving new system design, upgrades to existing SCADA platforms, and migrations from legacy systems to modern architecture. These are technically demanding, high-visibility engagements with large customers. We are looking for direct experience with Siemens WinCC SCADA version 7.4 or higher. This is NOT WinCC Unified, WinCC Professional, WinCC Advanced, or TIAL Portal, although experience there helps. Successful applicants will live in the US near one of our locations or have the ability to relocate.
This role is primarily SCADA and related software programming but has potential to expand based on your interests and expertise. You will work with and learn from some of the best Industrial Application Engineers around. Salary is commensurate with experience and ability.
The position is FULL TIME, starting with 1099 contract for 3-4 months to make sure its a mutual fit, then converting to employee.
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Siemens WinCC SCADA v7.4 or higher — production experience developing applications (not just maintaining what someone else built): 3+ Years
- STRONG SCADA Experience in any standard platform very helpful!
- WinCC VBScript — expertise in scripting, debugging, and optimization. 3+ Years
- Strong scripting experience in any standard scripting language 3+ Years
Preferred Skills:
You don't need expertise in all the following, but solid experience in several is a strong plus — and you will develop deep proficiency in all of them on the job:
- SCADA and HMI
- FactoryLink (big plus, please apply!)
- SIMATIC Manager
- SQL programming and Reporting
- ANSI C Programming / Scripting
- Visual Basic for Applications
- .NET or other modern programming languages
- PLC programming
- AI / automation tooling

Location & Travel:
- Training period: On-site in Alpharetta, GA (duration TBD based on experience)
- Ongoing: Fully remote with periodic on-site visits (After initial Training Period)
- Primary travel locations: Orlando, FL; Los Angeles, CA; and other customer sites as needed
- Expected travel: ~10–25% on average
