Job Summary
The Department of Radiology, at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, has an opening for a full-time night radiologist to provide abdominal imaging subspecialty reads and assist with emergency/in-patient acute-care coverage.

Excellent time off!  Schedule is 7-nights on and 14-days/nights off. The position will be remote teleradiology from your home anywhere in the United States or local in beautiful Colorado. 

The desired individual would enjoy reading challenging cases and teaching residents, in an environment that supports clinical research. Comfortable interpreting Level 1 trauma, tertiary care abdominal and transplant imaging as well as general radiology. The emphasis will be for abdominal imaging to include a gambit of exams from the ICU, IP, outpatient imaging abdominal imaging, and general emergency/critical care imaging.

This is an opportunity to join a progressive department and institution, on a modern state-of-the-art medical campus. We are open to candidates at Senior Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and full-Professor levels.
 

Duties (All Ranks)

A 7-person team provides night coverage (10 pm to 7 am MST) at University Hospital (tertiary care and level-1 trauma), seven nights a week.

Job Responsibilities: Hybrid position reading roughly 75% abdominal imaging and 25% ER/critical care imaging. Interpretation of all emergency, critical care, IP and outpatient imaging studies performed. This will include, but is not limited to MR, CT, US, and CR/DR images. 

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position has been established at:

Sr. Instructor - $300,000 -$350,000

Assistant Professor - $300,000 -$350,000

Associate Professor - $300,000 -$350,000

Professor - $300,000 -$350,000

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Sr. Instructor

  • Medical Degree or equivalent, Colorado Medical License by time of hire, ABR or AOBR Certification or eligible by time of hire, completed sub-specialty fellowship by time of hire.

Assistant Professor

  • Medical Degree or equivalent, Colorado Medical License by time of hire, ABR or AOBR Certification or eligible by time of hire, completed sub-specialty fellowship by time of hire.

Associate Professor

  • Medical Degree or equivalent, Colorado Medical License by time of hire, ABR or AOBR Certification or eligible by time of hire, completed sub-specialty fellowship by time of hire.

Professor

  • Medical Degree or equivalent, Colorado Medical License by time of hire, ABR or AOBR Certification or eligible by time of hire, completed sub-specialty fellowship by time of hire.

Required Competencies (All Ranks)

  • Competency is required in the performance of radiology, as it relates to the emergency, in-patient acute-care settings and subspecialty outpatient abdominal imaging.

Preferred Qualifications (All Ranks)

  • The individual would enjoy reading challenging cases and teaching residents, in an environment that supports clinical research.
