Loudoun Water has an immediate opening for a highly motivated Laboratory Process Specialist at the Loudoun Water Laboratory. The individual will assist with a variety of laboratory quality assurance work involving laboratory analyses, chemical inventory, equipment maintenance and records management. They will coordinate all activities with the laboratory manager and laboratory staff, as well as staff from other Loudoun Water operational groups. This position is for a highly motivated, self-driven individual as many projects are independently managed under regulated time constraints.
Requirements
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry, biology or related environmental science. Three years progressively responsible experience in water or wastewater laboratory analyses or equivalent combination of education, experience and knowledge.

Drinking water from the Potomac River is fully treated by our wholesaler, Fairfax Water, and drinking water from Goose Creek is fully treated by Loudoun Water at our Goose Creek Water Treatment Facility.
