CSI Companies is hiring a Fully Remote Inpatient RN CDI Specialist for our healthcare clients.
Hours: Flexible hours after onboarding but will need to be available to work between 7a-5p EST initially

Job Summary:
We are seeking several Inpatient RN Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Specialists to join our growing team! Ideal candidates will be certified (CCDS), have home office space with a second monitor set up as well as high speed internet. Experience as an RN or CDIS in a Level One Trauma Center preferred. Ability to meet fast paced review and query metrics with minimal oversight.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct concurrent reviews for query opportunity.
- Perform second level reviews as needed.
- Experience assigning accurate PDx and procedures as well as identifying cause and effect, MCC, CC, HCC, PSI, HAC and Validation query opportunity.
- Collaborate with the team for educational purposes as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and CDI practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of recent inpatient CDI experience
- Active RN license with 5+ years of hospital experience, preferably some ED or ICU experience
- Active CCDS is required
- Knowledge of HCC capture
- Prior second level review and/or auditing experience
- Ability to meet quality standards of 95% or higher.
- Ability to review and document on 2-3 charts per hour working in multiple systems without CAC.
- Expected query rate of 25-35%.
- Strong understanding of clinical conditions, coding guidelines, and 3M stand-alone coding.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a tea
- Verifiable Associate Degree or higher
