Central Minnesota Council on Aging (CMCOA) is a non-profit organization designated by the Minnesota Board on Aging (MBA) as the area agency on aging for a 14-county region that includes; Benton, Cass, Chisago, Crow Wing, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Pine, Sherburne, Stearns, Todd, Wadena, and Wright counties. CMCOA is a pivotal link between community supports for older adults and their caregivers, and the state and federal funding for these services. In partnership with public and private organizations, CMCOA helps older adults age successfully by building community capacity, advocating for aging issues, maximizing service effectiveness, and networking people with information.
