AML Compliance Manager

*Excellent German required* * Hybrid / Munich / 30 hours per week*

We are partnering with a growing European organisation in the renewable energy and infrastructure space to hire an experienced Compliance & AML Manager. Operating across multiple markets, the business offers a dynamic, regulated environment with strong growth ambitions.

The Role

As Compliance & AML Manager, you will take ownership of compliance and AML topics, acting as a key advisor to internal stakeholders while helping to shape and strengthen frameworks in a regulated setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on compliance & AML matters and support internal stakeholders
• Translate regulatory requirements into practical policies, controls, and procedures
• Maintain and further develop compliance & AML frameworks
• Optimise and (where possible) automate processes
• Conduct KYC and sanctions checks, including documentation and risk assessment
• Support audits, regulatory reporting (e.g. BaFin/Bundesbank) and external interactions
• Contribute to compliance topics within fund-related activities

Your Profile

• Degree in law, economics, or a related field
• Several years' experience in compliance/AML within a regulated environment
• Strong knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g. KWG, GwG, MaRisk, MiFID)
• Ability to translate complex regulation into practical solutions
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent German and strong English
