Description

An established Asia hedge fund is looking to hire a compliance role that will oversee the Singapore office's compliance program. The role will have management responsibility managing one person and will have high level of visibility towards senior management.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

1. Provide timely compliance advisory to the business on all local regulatory obligations, trading regulations and best practices.
2. Keep abreast of regulatory developments in Singapore and ensure all compliance obligations are adhered to.
3. Contribute to global compliance initiatives to enhance corporate governance, reporting, and monitoring processes.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

1. At least 5 years of experience in the hedge fund, investment management or global markets industry.
2. Experience liaising with regulators such as the MAS will be advantageous.
3. Strong stakeholders management skills and ability to work independently.
