Description

Responsibilities:

• Identify and analyze potential credit risk matters arising from retail credit product / process and advise corresponding risk control measures as needed.
• Keep abreast of the market development on underwriting criteria of retail credit products, prepare proposals to enhance competitiveness of retail credit products.
• Formulate, review and comment on credit policy and procedures to drive alignment to external regulations, BOC group requirements, market environment, business strategy, etc.
• To handle ad hoc tasks as assigned by direct supervisor as needed.

Requirements:

• University degree or above in risk management, economics, finance, accounting or related disciplines. Holders of qualifications such as CPA, CFA, FRM, HKIB(ECF) will be an advantage.
• 3 years of experience gained from banking / financial institution
• Good analytical and communication skills. Act as a team player to collaborate with key stakeholders.
• Good understanding of regulatory and risk management standard in banking.
• Good command of both written and spoken Chinese and English.
• Proficient in MS Office such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint is required; proficiency in data manipulation tools such as VBA, SAS, Python is an advantage.
