Description
Key Responsibilities- Conduct ESG research on portfolio investees across asset classes, including data mining, proprietary assessments, peer benchmarking, and ongoing monitoring
- Integrate ESG insights into the fundamental investment process and support investment decision-making
- Support stewardship activities, including company engagements, proxy voting analysis, and execution
- Maintain ESG databases and prepare reports, disclosures, and documentation in line with regulatory frameworks and investor requirements
- Prepare ESG investment cases, presentation materials, research contents and meeting notes for internal and external communications
- Collaborate closely with investment teams to implement and articulate responsible investment strategies and processes
- Liaise with ESG data providers, regulators, and industry participants to stay updated on market developments and ensure data quality and service delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related disciplines
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in the financial industry; exposure to ESG or sustainability-related work is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in ESG and responsible investment
- Proficiency in data analysis (Excel required; VBA and/or Python is a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively
- Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Fluency in English and Mandarin
