About the role

This is a high-accountability, results-driven position focused on engaging commercial, industrial, governmental, and multifamily customers; supporting trade allies.
The ideal candidate will have experience with building energy performance (e.g., lighting, HVAC and their control systems, and building envelop components) to perform building audits (or assessments) and provide expert advice for customers while recommending specific upgrades to electric systems through exemplary customer service. You will also advise customers on the improved efficiency that the upgrades will bring. This position will provide excellent customer service and help customers implement, improve and demonstrate their commitment to improved energy management in their building.
This position will be in our Albuquerque New Mexico, presenting a dynamic hybrid schedule where employees will typically spend three (3) days per week working from either a DNV office or client location/site.
Further details regarding role-specific requirements will be shared during the interview process.

- Interpret customer billing data, meter data, rate information, and similar technical information, and communicate findings to customers in layperson terms.
- Enter and analyze energy savings opportunity and customer building data using spreadsheets, report templates, and web-based tools. Author and edit weekly and monthly reports in accordance with client requirements and standards.
- Review and verify energy savings calculations, and guide other staff on best practices across energy-saving technologies, including lighting, HVAC, fans, pumps, air compression, and industrial process applications.
- Perform site-specific engineering analysis and evaluation of energy efficiency projects involving industrial process equipment such as pumps, fans, and compressed air systems, complex central plant systems, and advanced HVAC equipment. Assess existing and emerging measures, incorporating performance trends and operational data to support updates.
