Description
Capital Health Plan (CHP) seeks an accomplished, collaborative, and strategically minded executive to serve as its next Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer. This is a unique opportunity to join one of the nation's highest-rated not-for-profit health plans and lead an enterprise-wide compliance and privacy program that supports CHP's mission of delivering high-quality, affordable, and coordinated healthcare to the communities it serves. For more than 40 years, CHP has served the Tallahassee region through a distinctive integrated model that includes health plan operations, employed physicians, health centers, and a broad provider network serving more than 130,000 members.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and maintaining a strong, independent relationship with the Board of Directors and Audit Committee, the Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer will provide strategic oversight of CHP's Corporate Compliance and Privacy Programs while advising executive leadership and the Board on regulatory compliance, privacy, ethics, governance, and enterprise risk matters.
The Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer will oversee compliance activities across Medicare, Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB), commercial health plan operations, HIPAA privacy requirements, fraud, waste and abuse prevention, delegated entities, and other regulatory obligations. This leader will direct compliance risk assessments, auditing and monitoring activities, investigations, privacy governance, breach response, regulatory reporting, and corrective action planning, while partnering closely with leaders across operations, clinical services, provider networks, finance, technology, human resources, legal, and administration.
The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in managed care compliance, healthcare privacy, and regulatory affairs, including expertise in Medicare Advantage, FEHB, HIPAA, fraud, waste and abuse requirements, and health plan operations. For a compliance leader seeking the opportunity to serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board while helping shape the future of a mature and highly respected compliance program, Capital Health Plan offers an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a stable, community-focused, and mission-driven organization.
