Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Compliance to lead and oversee our regulatory framework in Singapore. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and ensure our fund management operations strictly adhere to the Securities and Futures Act (SFA), Financial Advisers Act (FAA), and all relevant AML/CFT guidelines. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and updating robust compliance policies, conducting regular risk assessments, and monitoring portfolio management activities to mitigate regulatory and operational risks. As a key strategic advisor to the executive leadership team, you will provide definitive guidance on regulatory shifts, licensing requirements, and new product launches, fostering a strong culture of compliance across the entire firm.

The ideal candidate possesses a minimum of 8 to 10 years of compliance experience within the Singapore fund management sector, with a proven track record of handling MAS interactions and regulatory audits. You should have a deep understanding of corporate governance, investment compliance restriction monitoring, and the evolving regulatory landscape impacting alternative or traditional asset managers. Strong leadership skills and exceptional communication are essential, as you will be expected to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical operational procedures and lead firm-wide training initiatives. A relevant degree in Law, Finance, or Business, alongside professional compliance certifications (such as ICA or ACAMS), is highly preferred for this critical leadership position.
