Global emerging markets investment management boutique seeks a mid-level Compliance Officer to oversee its activities across the UK and US. Reporting to the overseas-based Chief Legal & Compliance Officer and working alongside the CIO, this is a hands-on generalist opportunity, partnering the business with proactive regulatory advice and responding to queries. The successful applicant will be expected to keep abreast of developing regulations impacting the firm and advising portfolio management accordingly. Duties span the entire breadth from compliance policy and procedures, investment guidelines, third party due diligence and AML, extending to paralegal matters such as NDA's. Candidates are sought with a minimum of six years' buyside compliance, including working knowledge of SEC rules and filings as a necessity, additionally to FCA. This is an excellent opportunity with a clear pathway for progression to a global role over the long term.
