Description
We are partnering with a leading organization within the financial services space to appoint aCompliance professional who will play a key role in safeguarding regulatory integrity while enabling business growth.This is an opportunity to step into ahigh-visibility role , working closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure regulatory expectations are met while supporting strategic initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing
- Act as a trusted compliance partner to business units, providing practical and timely regulatory guidance
- Stay ahead of regulatory updates and translate changes into actionable advice for the organization
- Support the business in navigating day-to-day compliance matters, balancing risk and commercial objectives
- Identify, assess, and mitigate regulatory risks, including managing incident reporting where required
- Drive the development and enhancement of internal policies, frameworks, and governance standards
- Lead compliance monitoring and testing activities, ensuring robust controls and continuous improvement
- Deliver training and awareness sessions to strengthen compliance culture across the organization
- Liaise with regulators and manage requests, while escalating key issues to senior management when necessary
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Finance, Accounting, IT, Risk, or related fields)
- Minimum7 years of compliance experience within a regulated financial services environment
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk management practices
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to evaluate complex scenarios
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
- Independent, self-motivated, and comfortable working with autonomy
