Scott Blanchard, PhD, Department of Structural Biology
Lead the experimental design, execution, and data analysis of biophysical studies characterizing GPCR structural dynamics with in vivo downstream signaling response.
Taosheng Chen, PhD, Department of Chemical Biology and Therapeutics
Study the regulation of nuclear receptors like PXR and CAR or enzymes like CYP3A4 and CYP3A5 by developing or characterizing novel chemical probes (i.e., small-molecule inhibitors or degraders).
Tommaso Cupido, PhD, Department of Chemical Biology and Therapeutics
Discover, design, and develop small-molecule modulators using novel screening and compound optimization platforms, with emphasis on yet-to-be-drugged pathways and biological mechanisms that regulate RNA biology and gene expression in cancer.
Elizabeth Hillman, PhD, Department of Imaging Sciences
Design, construction, and application of high-speed 3D microscopy methods including our SCAPE / light-sheet approaches, two-photon, fluorescence lifetime, and vibrational imaging methods.
Christian Meyer, PhD, Department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences
Integrate high-throughput screening, computational models, and systems biology to elucidate the mechanisms of drug interactions in complex biological systems, with a particular focus on infectious disease.
Tanja Mittag, PhD, Department of Structural Biology
Work on the biophysics of sequence–structure–function relationships of intrinsically disordered protein regions by defining sequence-encoded conformational preferences, driving force for phase separation, and emergent properties of other types of IDR sequences.
David Solecki, PhD, Department of Developmental Neurobiology
Make use of live-cell biosensors, advanced microscopy, neuronal differentiation systems, acute perturbations, and quantitative image analysis to find out how intracellular state transitions are organized in developing neurons.
