Job Summary (includes but is not limited to the following, other duties may be assigned)
- Performs a variety of engineering work in designing, planning and overseeing manufacture, construction, installation, operation and maintenance of electric or electronic components including, but not limited to, systems, transmissions and utilization of electrical energy for domestic, commercial and industrial consumption.
- Applies electrical theory and related knowledge to test and modify developmental or operational electrical machinery and electrical control equipment and circuitry in industrial or commercial plants.
- Assembles electrical and electronic systems and prototypes according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles, using hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Works closely with other engineering disciplines in the development and application of robotics to increase production quality, efficiency or volume.
Job Responsibilities
- Provides service support to plant and infrastructure, Steam Filled maintenance and administrative team.
- Transformer testing, evaluating outputs, involved with relay protection schemes, electrical and contractors.
- Makes recommendations on moderately complex issues regarding project components and tasks.
- May make recommendations on new processes, tools and services; supports and contributes to development of new products, services or techniques.
- Works on problems of diverse scope ranging from moderate to complex.
- Uses independent judgment requiring in-depth analysis of variable factors.
- Collaborates with senior professionals in selection of methods, techniques, and analytical approach.
- Little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
- Serves as project/technical lead on small to medium sized projects; may coordinate work of professionals, technicians and others outside of own department.
- Resource integrator –builds professional networks and identifies and connects resources to achieve goals.
- Regularly contributes actionable ideas in brainstorming and planning sessions.

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, in Electrical Engineering
- Open to entry, mid and senior level applicants
- Experience with high voltage and power lines preferred
- Knowledge of geothermal geology preferred
