Description
ULTRA t Equipment Company is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer for our CVD equipment design, build, and test group with specific experience in energy enhanced CVD chemistry, processes, and systems. This is NOT a management role. The role is a major contributor in research and development efforts designing, building, and integrating components and controls for thin-film deposition equipment based on novel CVD processes, and will require direct interaction with our components, systems, and automation software engineering group. In addition, the engineer will support application specific projects demonstrating the equipment capabilities, and exploring new engineering principles for thin-film applications.

Requirements
Required qualifications:
- BS minimum (advanced degree preferred) in Electrical Engineering (or relevant engineering/science field).
- 5 years of professional experience (post-degree) with CVD thin-film deposition equipment. Especially techniques that use plasma, laser, or other energy enhancement.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with the design, build, and operation of thin-film deposition equipment, processes, process monitoring, analysis techniques, and vacuum systems used in CVD applications.
- PLC design and integration experience for thin-film deposition equipment systems, modules, and components.
- Experience with full cycle design of PCBs from schematics to layout to manufacturing.
- Example report, publication, presentation, or similar documentation of qualifications and experience required.
Additional skills:
Laser systems (optics, sources, and applications), SolidWorks CAD EE experience designing complete process systems (detailed 3D models of components, assemblies, and systems), microelectronics product/application development, Finite Element Analysis, cleanroom, photochemistry concepts and applications, chemical characterization, project management, design of experiments (collecting and analyzing complex data sets), International Standards (SEMI, CE, UL, etc.), technical sales, small business environment, marketing, publishing and presenting of research work.
