- Energy Analyst (EA II)
Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Energy Analyst to join our growing team. This role involves creating building energy models, analyzing compliance strategies, and collaborating with project design teams throughout the construction
process.
This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates interested in sustainability, building performance, architecture, engineering, or construction.
We are willing to train the right candidate.
Training will take place in our Castro Valley office, with hybrid work options available after the initial training period.
Requirements
Responsibilities
Develop building energy models using software such as CBECC, EnergyPro, and/or IESVE
Perform California Title 24 energy compliance analysis
Evaluate and recommend energy-efficient design solutions
Prepare compliance documentation and reports
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project teams
Assist with project support during design and construction phases
Qualifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented and organized
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Interest in sustainable design, energy efficiency, or building systems
Experience in construction, architecture, engineering, or related fields is helpful
but not required
Experience with energy modeling software is a plus, but training will be provided
