Here's The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Energy Services Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you’ll support the safe and reliable operation of our hydro facilities by maintaining, inspecting, and repairing critical mechanical equipment. You’ll also work closely with electrical and controls teams to support overall system performance. This is a hands-on opportunity to work on essential infrastructure while contributing to a team that values its employees and the community it serves. How You’ll Contribute
- Maintain and repair mechanical equipment (air compressors, heat exchangers, gear reducers, valves, pumps, and fans, etc.).
- Dismantle and reassemble turbine generators as needed.
- Read and update blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Plan and schedule work including parts, equipment, and labor.
- Operate hand and power tools (rock saws and cut-off saws) for maintenance tasks.
- Mentor and guide junior team members.
How You’re Qualified
- Two or more years of experience in maintenance and/or repair of mechanical equipment or other relevant experience.
- A degree(s) in mechanical or industrial maintenance, instrumentation, controls or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
- Driver's license
