The Global Research Analyst – Infrastructure (Clean Energy) plays an essential role in this collaborative investment model. This position is designed for an equity research professional who wants to be fully embedded in the investment process, working sidebyside with the clean energy lead portfolio manager to support active security selection and portfolio positioning within Clean Energy. Rather than operating as a standalone research function, the role is tightly integrated into how portfolios are managed, risks are evaluated, and longterm investment themes are translated into actionable decisions.
Our preferred candidate will work out of our Chicago office and will not require relocation. Designed for professionals with 4-7 years of relevant buy-side investment experience, this role offers meaningful exposure, increasing responsibility, and visibility within the clean energy and infrastructure investment platform. The Global Research Analyst will assume primary responsibility for a dedicated coverage universe, conducting indepth fundamental research on companies across clean energy. This includes financial modeling, valuation analysis, assessment of regulatory and competitive dynamics, and evaluation of longterm structural trends shaping the global energy transition. Analytical rigor and sound judgment are essential; collaboration, accountability, and intellectual curiosity are what distinguish success in the role.

You will collaborate closely with the clean energy lead portfolio manager to produce company research, earnings assessments, and valuation work that support documented buy, hold, and sell decisions. This partnershipdriven approach mirrors D&P’s broader operating model, where roles are defined less by hierarchy and more by shared responsibility for portfolio integrity and longterm outcomes.
Partnership Across the Investment Organization
In addition to core research responsibilities, the Global Research Analyst supports portfoliolevel discussions through active communication of investment views, risk considerations, and evolving sector themes. The role involves regular engagement with company management teams, industry participants, and internal stakeholders, ensuring that research perspectives remain current, informed, and grounded in fundamental insight.
Working collaboratively across research and portfolio management, the Global Research Analyst helps ensure that Clean Energy investments remain aligned with strategy objectives, valuation discipline, and risk tolerances. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a rigorous, researchdriven environment. The Analyst will also contribute to client and stakeholderfacing materials, including marketing and board content, supporting clear and consistent communication of investment strategy and positioning. The starting salary range is $140,000 to $160,000/annually.
The starting salary offer will vary based on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. This position is also eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan.
