Description

Our client is a digital bank expanding its digital wealth management footprint. This role will lead the design, oversight, and execution of the regulatory compliance framework to ensure ongoing regulatory alignment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide regulatory opinions, solutions, and ongoing support to all business/functions to enable the digital bank's growth in Hong Kong.
• Formulate, review, and update compliance policies and procedures to ensure alignment with applicable laws, regulations, and group requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities, and manage regulatory inquiries, inspections, and audits.
• Establish, maintain, and implement business conduct and other compliance programs for the digital bank.
• Identify regulatory compliance risks, perform assurance reviews, escalate potential regulatory/policy breaches, and report conduct issues to senior management.
• Deliver internal compliance training periodically and support continuous compliance awareness across teams.

Requirements:

• Degree holder with at least 10 years of experience in relevant legal and compliance functions in the banking and financial services industry.
• Good knowledge of fintech, mobile banking and open to the use of new technology such as AI.
• Demonstrates strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and collaboration skills to lead and support the team effectively.
• Excellent proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Willing and able to travel occasionally for business purposes.
