What You'll Do
Benefits Administration & Employee Experience
- Administer employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
- Lead annual open enrollment and develop engaging employee communications that drive participation and understanding.
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees by providing timely, professional, and compassionate support regarding benefits and available resources.
- Conduct new hire benefits orientation and educate employees on available programs.
- Evaluate benefits programs and recommend enhancements that support employee needs and organizational goals.
- Analyze utilization data, trends, and employee feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with benefit carriers, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless employee experience.
Compliance & Administration
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and other applicable regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee benefit records and process enrollments, life events, and terminations.
- Manage carrier connections and benefits system integrity to ensure accurate data exchange.
- Reconcile and approve monthly benefit invoices.
- Assist with ACA reporting and distribution of Forms 1094-C and 1095-C.
- Maintain and update benefits policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Process Improvement
- Continuously review and improve benefits administration processes.
- Identify innovative solutions that improve efficiency, data integrity, and employee satisfaction.
- Partner with HR and Payroll to optimize workflows and strengthen operational effectiveness.
Payroll & Leave Support
- Collaborate with Payroll to ensure accurate benefit deductions, reporting, and reconciliations.
- Serve as backup for payroll processing as needed, including payroll entry, timekeeping maintenance, and payroll support activities.
- Support leave administration processes and maintain accurate records within UKG and related systems.

Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Experience in benefits administration, human resources, payroll, leave administration, or a related field preferred.
- Strong customer service and employee support skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms, benefits systems, or payroll systems such as UKG is preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, CEBS, or related certification preferred.
