Arnold Bros. Transport Ltd. is committed to supporting our team and enabling performance excellence. We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Professional to support the full scope of HR operations across our business. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Generalist will serve as a key resource for employees and managers, ensuring consistent application of HR policies, programs, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate screenings, interviews, and offer coordination.
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including performance management and conflict resolution.
- Administer employee onboarding and support employee development initiatives.
- Ensure HR policies and practices remain compliant with applicable federal employment legislation.
- Maintain accurate employee records and generate workforce reports for leadership.
- Provide professional guidance to managers and front-line leaders in relation to conflict resolution and performance management matters.
- Promote a positive workplace culture through various employee engagement activities and initiatives.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Post graduate diploma or degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years’ Human Resources experience.
- CPHR designation is considered an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to navigate complicated and sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy.
- Strong research and problem-solving skills.
- Firm support and commitment towards workplace health & safety.
- Strong knowledge & experience with MS Office Suite and Teams.
- Strong customer service focus and attention to detail.
