We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Infection Preventionist (RN) to help lead our clinical team in maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality care, and infection control throughout our center.

Responsibilities: Infection Preventionist (RN)
Lead and oversee the facility Infection Prevention & Control Program
Monitor and investigate infections, outbreaks, and trends within the center
Ensure compliance with CDC, CMS, OSHA, and NJ Department of Health regulations
Conduct surveillance, audits, and reporting related to infection prevention
Educate and train nursing staff on infection prevention protocols and best practices
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes and quality measures
Maintain accurate documentation and participate in QAPI initiatives
Assist with policy development and implementation related to infection prevention
Requirements: Infection Preventionist (RN)
Active New Jersey RN or LPN License required
Infection Prevention certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
Strong knowledge of infection control regulations and practices
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Ability to educate, mentor, and support clinical staff
Experience with electronic medical records preferred
