Description

A well-established global investment manager a Legal & Compliance Manager to support its continued growth. This is a broad, high-exposure role spanning legal, compliance, operations, and investor support within a dynamic investment platform.

Key Responsibilities

Legal & Compliance (Primary Focus)

1. Support private and public market transactions from a legal and compliance perspective
2. Assist with regulatory filings, licensing matters, restructuring initiatives, and account openings
3. Draft, review, and enhance compliance policies and internal procedures
4. Coordinate due diligence processes, legal documentation review, and vendor onboarding
5. Contribute to process optimisation initiatives across compliance and governance functions

Operations & Risk

1. Support trade lifecycle processes including confirmation, reconciliation, settlement, and NAV oversight
2. Assist with risk reporting and corporate actions
3. Maintain and enhance operational policies and workflows, including automation initiatives

Investor & Stakeholder Support

1. Assist with subscription/redemption processes and investor documentation (e.g. DDQs)
2. Support client servicing, reporting, and marketing material preparation
3. Coordinate meetings, data analysis, and ad hoc investor enquiries

Candidate Profile

1. Fluency in English and Mandarin and/or Cantonese is essential
2. Up to 10 years' relevant experience
3. Experience in legal, compliance, or regulatory matters within asset management, private equity, or financial services preferred
4. Strong organisational skills with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
