- Initiate process-change or standard-adjustment requests and work with team members to resolve machining problems and assist in the development of special tooling or improved methods.
- Operate multiple machines when qualified and needed to meet production requirements. Employees may work primarily within one machining area or may be trained and assigned across Pullbore and T-Lathe operations based on qualifications and business needs.
- Safely operate cranes and other lifting devices as required. Perform machine cleanouts and other general labor associated with the work area.
- Assist with the training and instruction of new employees as assigned and perform other related duties as required.
- General knowledge of machining practices, shop mathematics, blueprints, and specifications.
- Minimum of one year of CNC machining knowledge or experience.
