MACHINIST/TOOL MAKER/
MACHINE OPERATOR
DIAMOND WIRE SPRING CO.
We are seeking a mechanically skilled team member to build, repair, and maintain tools, fixtures, and equipment used in our manufacturing process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up and operate lathes, mills,
grinders, and other machine tools
Build, repair, and modify tools
and fixtures
Inspect parts using calipers,
micrometers, and gauges
Read engineering drawings and
specifications
Troubleshoot equipment and
make adjustments
Perform routine machine
maintenance
Follow all safety procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with machine tools
and measuring equipment
Strong mechanical and
problem-solving skills
Ability to read technical drawings
Ability to stand and operate
machinery for extended periods
Tool-making experience, vocational training, and CNC knowledge are preferred but not required.
