Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Opportunity: Occupational Medicine PhysicianOur organization is a physician-led, accountable multispecialty group practice with over 650 providers. We are excited to present an excellent opportunity for a dedicated physician who embraces a multidisciplinary approach to patient care and is eager to contribute to the expansion of our Occupational Medicine practice.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive pre-employment and periodic health evaluations.
- Utilize expert clinical skills to address workplace exposures and injuries.
- Ensure adherence to OSHA health and safety regulations.
- Maintain compliance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines to uphold the highest quality of care.
- Facilitate timely consultations with relevant specialty services as necessary.
- Stay informed about the evolving practices in Occupational Medicine.
- Foster effective communication and relationships with local industries to enhance service delivery.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
- Current, unrestricted medical license in Idaho.
- Completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Occupational Medicine residency program; candidates with training in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine may also be considered.
- Board certification is required or must be obtained within 12 months of employment.
- Registration with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.
- Valid controlled substance registration with the Idaho Boards of Pharmacy and DEA.
- Medical Review Officer certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with Idaho Workers Compensation regulations is highly desirable.
- Experience as a Medical Director is preferred.
This is a full-time position based in Boise, ID, with a schedule of 10-hour workdays. There is no on-call requirement.
