The School of Chemistry and Biochemistry (https://chemistry.gatech.edu/) at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow to work with Professor A.J. Arduengo, and collaborating faculty in the ReWOOD Center. The selected candidate will help to develop and implement technology for Renewables-based Economy from Wood. The postdoctoral fellow will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other external partners on issues associated with process scale-up and industrial startup. Postdoctoral appointments are initially for one year with the possibility of renewal pending satisfactory performance and continued funding. A competitive salary is offered commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Requirements

A Ph.D. in chemistry, and/or chemical engineering. Experience with industrial process development.
