Program Manager, Enterprise Content Strategy

Role Summary:
We're seeking a Program Manager, Enterprise Content Strategy to define rigorous program reporting, governance and delivery practices. This person is accountable for ensuring delivery of business outcomes and demonstrating program value to stakeholders.
This role will coordinate roadmaps across a portfolio of critical enterprise content strategy initiatives to drive adoption of enterprise standards and best practices. This person will report to the Sr. Manager, Digital Content Strategy and work within a centralized content strategy team. This role partners closely with business units, product management, platform, UX, engineering, and Dealer teams. The Program Manager brings structure, visibility, and operational discipline to complex initiatives, while helping teams move from strategy to execution.
What You Will Do:
Program Performance & Reporting
- Define and refine program metrics, track performance against KPIs, and deliver executive-level reporting
- Monitor and report on adoption of content standards, processes, and frameworks across business units
- Manage cross-team dependencies to drive execution and ensure delivery of strategic initiatives
- Establish and maintain a consistent reporting and governance cadence
Operations & Governance
- Coordinate enterprise content initiatives across business units and cross-functional teams
- Manage intake, prioritization, and coordination of content requests across stakeholders
- Define and operationalize ways of working, including governance, processes, and cross-team collaboration to help program scale
Stakeholder Management, Communications & Enablement
- Lead business unit, stakeholder, and dealer communications to drive alignment and transparency
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and maintain clear, consistent communication channels
- Support enablement efforts to reinforce adoption of content standards and processes
Program Execution & Roadmap Management
- Partner with the Senior Manager, Digital Content Strategy to define and evolve program roadmaps
- Align content roadmaps with broader product and enterprise priorities
- Drive execution of roadmap initiatives across teams and business units
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and escalate issues based on defined KPIs
What You Will Have:
Program Management: Knowledge of the policies and techniques to manage a set of related projects within a program; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control the set of projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve program objectives.
Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
Creativity: Knowledge of the approaches, tools, and techniques for promoting creative, original thinking and ability to apply it to a variety of business situations.
Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
Vendor/Supplier Management: Knowledge of external provider management processes and ability to effectively manage the business relationship with external providers (e.g. vendors, service providers, contractors, consultants and suppliers).
Digital Marketing: Knowledge of processes, techniques, and platforms of digital marketing; ability to implement or manage digital marketing programs.
Considerations For Top Candidates:
- Proven experience in program management, account management, agency operations, digital content strategy, or enterprise content operations preferred
- Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional digital programs across multiple teams or business units
- Understanding of content strategy, content operations, digital product development, governance, structured content, and digital content ecosystems
- Experience with roadmaps, operating models, intake processes, and program governance frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to drive stakeholder alignment and influence
- Experience with enterprise CMS platforms (e.g., AEM), content systems, or digital marketing technologies
- Familiarity with SEO, GEO, AI content strategy, and content performance measurement
- Strong communication and executive presentation skills
- Working knowledge of customer journeys, digital channels, content performance metrics, and personalized content experiences.
- Proven track record of building cross-functional relationships and partnerships
- Experience with content ops, design system documentation, metadata and taxonomy, and content modeling, and modular content strategy is a plus.

Summary Pay Range:
$128,470.00 - $192,710.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
