Description
DEFINITION: This is a professional position, which involves administrative and investigatory duties primarily as a support to Friendship Community’s Compliance Department.
III. BASIC FUNCTION: To ensure that Friendship Community adheres to the State’s Requirements regarding the timely and sufficient management of incidents and to assure that quality and documentation standards meet FC and State Regulations.
IV. ACCOUNTABILITY: The Incident Management Administrator is accountable to the Regulatory Compliance Advisor.
V. RESPONSIBILITY:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Promote Friendship Community’s Mission, Vision, and Values with a
professional and positive attitude as a Team Member and representative of the
organization
2. Maintain confidentiality
3. Enter timely, detailed incident reports into the Enterprise Incident Management System
4. Obtain and maintain Certified Investigator certification
5. Conduct investigations of incidents in a timely and thorough manner
6. Maintain timely communication among all departments and with external entities as required
7. Conduct trainings and provide support on Incident Management and the Investigatory process
8. Provide technical guidance to the Team as necessary
9. Serve on various committees as requested
10. Other duties and/or projects as assigned
11. Comply with FC’s Privacy Policy Statement based on HIPAA regulations
12. Other duties as assigned by Administration
Provide leadership and support to the Program Specialist team
Oversee the Competitive Employment process
Oversee the Quality Management Process (develop quality initiatives) (QA&I)
Serve as Chairperson of the Human Rights Committee
Obtain and maintain Quality Management certification
Co-lead and work to expand Supported Living Services
Expanding and developing services (Life Sharing, Day Services, Supported Living)
Requirements
. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
1. High school education is required and additional training is preferred.
2. Must be able to work cooperatively at various levels of the organization to
implement systems, which support excellence in service provision.
3. Must be able to effectively manage multiple projects with varying deadlines.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
5. Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form.
