WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

The Quality Inspector is a key position at Pre-Con Products. You’re at the end of the of the line, making sure our products are to specifications, top-tier and ready to hit the market.

Reporting to our Quality Control Manager, you’ll primarily work with the production team and the yard team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspecting products, verifying that products are being manufactured at the highest quality levels and processes are being followed accordingly.
• Sampling concrete for slump, air, temperature, and unit weight daily. Making recommendations for better quality products.
• Inspecting rebar cages for proper placement based on specifications and production drawings.
• Follow up on Non-Conformance and Corrective Actions
• Organizing documentation
• Coordinate with production on all errors
• Assist in conducting QA Audits
• Assist in emphasizing adherence to process and QC requirements

You’re enthusiastic and motivated in a fast-paced environment. You’re experienced with reading blueprints. Detail Oriented are the two best words used to describe you. You don’t take shortcuts. You have the certifications under the American Concrete Institute (ACI) or possess the skills, knowledge, and abilities to be trained and obtain the certification within 6 months.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

•        Quality control experience in related industry is a plus
•        American Concrete Institute (ACI) certificates
•        Ability to interpret design drawings
•        Basic computer skills
•        Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members
•        Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically throughout the day

•        Hourly pay rate is $25 – 27/hr.
