Facility: Baylor Scott & White Hospital - College Station, TXDepartment: Intermediate Care/Telemetry (IMCU)
Shift/Status: Full Time, 36 hrs/week
Schedule: Day Shift (7:00 AM-7:00 PM), self-scheduling
Intermediate Care/Telemetry Unit
Patient Population: Adult cardiac, stroke, and multi-organ dysfunction patients

Patient Ratios: 1:4-1:5
Baylor Scott & White Hospital - College Station is a private, 143-bed, multi-specialty hospital. The Medical Center is a certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center, a Certified Chest Pain Center, as well as a Level III Trauma Center. Additionally, we have achieved the American Nurses Credentialing Center Magnet® Designation .
The Intermediate Care/Telemetry Unit (IMCU) is a 40-bed monitored unit providing care to adult patients who require an increased level of monitoring and nursing care. The unit cares for patients with cardiac conditions, stroke, multi-organ dysfunction, and other complex medical conditions requiring intermediate-level care.
RNs on the IMCU provide comprehensive patient care while continuously monitoring for changes in condition and collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team. This is an opportunity for an RN who enjoys caring for higher-acuity patients, utilizing strong clinical judgment, and working in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications
• Grad of an Accredited Program
• Specialized field of study should be nursing.
• RN license.
• Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
