The Tucson Medical Center Integrative Pain Center is comprised of two specialized clinical areas: an ambulatory pain management clinic and a dedicated procedural suite, serving patients ages 10 and older. Our multidisciplinary team provides comprehensive care for individuals experiencing chronic pain through a combination of medication management and evidence-based procedural interventions. The ambulatory clinic sees up to 80 patients per day, providing ongoing evaluation, treatment planning, and medication management to support patients in achieving improved pain control and function. The procedural suite cares for approximately 35 to 40 patients daily, offering a variety of advanced pain management procedures, many of which are performed with moderate sedation to ensure patient comfort and safety. Through an integrated approach to treatment, the TMC Integrative Pain Center is committed to improving function, reducing pain, and enhancing the quality of life for the patients we serve.
The RN coordinates patient care planning with other disciplines utilizing the principles of the nursing process and critical thinking skills in order to maintain patient safety and well-being. (Some positions might be assigned to critical care areas requiring specialized training.)
