Job Summary
The RN Workforce Development Program Manager designs, implements, and manages workforce development programs and initiatives. This includes building relationships with key stakeholders, communication and education initiatives, and overseeing programs and policies to align with Baylor Scott & White Health strategy and business goals. This role focuses on high school nursing pathways.
Essential Functions of the Role
• Collaborates with high school Curriculum & instruction Specialists to develop learning objectives, case studies, and career-connected learning activities.
• Partners with Nursing Professional Development and hospital leaders to coordinate scholar academic rotations across multiple hospitals, departments, and clinical functions
• Periodically leads nursing lab activities with high schoolers on their high school campus
• Serves as manager on key strategic initiatives, daily administration, or projects. Manage plans, deliverables, and key milestones supporting the organization's mission, vision, and values.
• Serves as a subject matter expert for nursing programs and processes.
• Builds internal and external relationships. Coordinates, collaborates and partners with and guides efforts cross-functionally to achieve desired outcomes.
• Develops reports to support functional area strategic initiatives and processes.
• Monitors and provides oversight of contracts, working with Legal, as needed.
• Guides functional area; drives and manages the process for annual programs.
• Assists leadership in designing programs strategically through data analysis and evaluation. Identifies cost containment opportunities from a budget perspective. Supports the organization's enterprise goals.

• Knowledge of business foundations, including strategy, operations, product and project management.
• Proven track record of people, projects and process management.
• Exceptional communications skills, both verbal and written. Exceptional presentation skills.
• Experience presenting to client decision-makers, including executives.
• Understanding of multiple methodologies and related implementation considerations.
• Track record of creativity, out-of-the-box thinking and taking initiative.
• Positive and collaborative team player.

• EDUCATION - Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• EXPERIENCE - 5 Years of Experience
• Registered Nurse in the state of Texas
