- Safety & Health Specialist
Description
The Safety & Health Specialist is an entry-level developmental position designed for an individual interested in building a long-term career in construction safety and health.
This position does not require the employee to enter the company as a fully developed safety professional. Instead, the employee will begin by learning Windsor Electric's operations, construction practices, safety expectations, and field responsibilities while working under the direction and mentorship of experienced Safety Department and operational personnel.
As knowledge, education, certifications, field experience, judgment, and demonstrated competency increase, the employee will be provided opportunities to take on progressively greater Safety & Health responsibilities.
The objective is to create a clear pathway for an individual to develop from an entry-level employee into a knowledgeable construction Safety & Health professional capable of independently supporting projects and, ultimately, assuming safety leadership responsibilities.
