About the Role - Assistant Food & Beverage Manager (Seasonal)
The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for oversight of day-to-day processes and colleagues of the hotel's Food & Beverage division. This seasonal management role will have a primary focus on Cove pool bar, poolside food & beverage service and the recreation team but will also support the other F&B outlets including Drift eat + drink, Shor and Market. The primary duties of this role will include but are not limited to resolving guest concerns, scheduling, coaching and counseling, maintaining department standards, staff development, interviewing/hiring, payroll and supporting the team members within these respective areas. The Assistant Food & Beverage manager is also responsible for supporting the division leader in maximizing food & beverage revenue, controlling expenses, and driving the highest level of customer service and scores. This individual will conduct department meetings and pre-shifts to maintain open communication with colleagues.

Wage Information:
The range for this position is an hourly rate between $25.51 and $31.88, which annualizes to a rate of $63,000.00 to $78,750.00 based on a 45-hour work week. This is the pay range for this position that Hyatt Regency La Jolla reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual pay rates and salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.
