Our client is an investment management firm with a well-established and growing presence across the Asia Pacific region. They are recognized for their rigorous fundamental investment process and have a dedicated mandate for Asian credit strategies. To further strengthen their team, they are seeking an experienced Senior Credit Analyst specializing in Hi-Yield to join their Hong Kong office.
You will play a critical role in driving investment performance by conducting independent, deep-dive fundamental research on Asian corporate credits, specifically within the High Yield universe. You will be responsible for generating actionable investment ideas, both long & short, and will work directly alongside Portfolio Managers to shape portfolio construction and risk management. Direct coverage experience in Hi-Yield Industrials, specifically within the Mining and Energy sectors, is highly preferred.
To qualify, you must have 8+ years of investment research experience (either in buy-side or sell-side institutions). Best-in-class financial analysis, modeling, credit cash flow analysis, and recovery analysis capabilities. You should have a strong existing coverage of HY bond issuers. Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin.
