Senior DevOps Engineer | Cloud, Kubernetes & Terraform | Hong Kong or Singapore

I'm partnering with leading global investment and financial technology firms that are actively hiring experienced DevOps Engineers in Hong Kong and Singapore.

These are hands-on roles where you'll build the cloud infrastructure, deployment platforms, and automation behind business-critical systems. You'll work in international engineering teams, solve complex production challenges, and help shape how applications are deployed, monitored, secured, and scaled.

Candidates already based in Hong Kong or Singapore are welcome, alongside international engineers genuinely interested in relocating to Asia. Relocation and work-authorisation support can be discussed depending on the opportunity.

Financial-services experience is not essential. Strong engineers from technology, fintech, e-commerce, cloud platforms, or other high-availability environments are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Build and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure.
2. Manage production Kubernetes platforms and containerised environments.
3. Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
4. Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable software delivery.
5. Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and operational processes.
6. Improve monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability.
7. Troubleshoot complex production issues and lead root-cause analysis.
8. Strengthen platform reliability, scalability, performance, and security.
9. Help engineering teams onboard applications and prepare them for production.
10. Collaborate with technology teams across Asia, Europe, and North America.

What We're Looking For

1. At least four years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or SRE.
2. Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
3. Practical experience with AWS or another major cloud platform.
4. Experience building and maintaining modern CI/CD pipelines.
5. Strong Linux administration and production troubleshooting skills.
6. Automation experience using Python, Bash, or a similar language.
7. Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, Loki, CloudWatch, or similar tools.
8. A solid understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and cloud connectivity.
9. Knowledge of IAM, encryption, secrets management, and infrastructure security.
10. Strong communication skills and an automation-first engineering mindset.

Nice to Have

1. Experience with Helm, Argo CD, Flux, Jenkins, or other GitOps tooling.
2. Exposure to Kafka, Amazon MSK, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging platforms.
3. Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, or other production data services.
4. Knowledge of hybrid-cloud or multi-account cloud environments.
5. Experience supporting distributed, high-availability, low-latency, or high-throughput systems.
6. Previous exposure to financial services, trading, fintech, or another regulated industry.
