For Expert Level:

• Lead research teams, explore, study, and orient proposals for applying the latest technologies in the world in the field of Signal Processing (SP); independently evaluate/select/apply/modify various techniques/standards/processes in accordance with customer requirements.
• Solve extremely complex, novel, and difficult problems with no precedent in the field of Signal Processing; requiring new and breakthrough approaches and methods.

For Principal Level:

• Design and develop various requirements and technical specifications for multiple Signal Processing programs with different functions such as: cryptography, data encoding, error correction coding, modulation, etc.
• Review, evaluate, and propose optimal solutions for algorithms; provide implementation guidance.
• Research and propose improvements or develop new Signal Processing solutions and algorithms to solve relatively complex Signal Processing problems for different products.

Requirements

Expert Level:

• PhD degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics–Informatics, Electronics and Telecommunications, or related fields from universities ranked in the Top 200 QS Rankings.
• Must be the corresponding/lead author of at least 10 papers published in prestigious journals such as IEEE, SCI, etc., with personal H-Index ≥ 20; or be the lead author of publications cited more than 1,000 times; or be a member of scientific editorial boards of prestigious journals; or own inventions/patents granted in advanced countries (US, EU, etc.).
• Minimum 10 years of in-depth experience in telecommunications, communication systems, and research on high-performance Signal Processing algorithms.
• Experience in researching and participating in the development of Signal Processing technologies with competitiveness comparable to international products, but without technology transfer.
• Preferred Candidates:

+) Being the academic leader of a scientific/technical department, laboratory, or equivalent position in academies, research institutes, or research centers of international-scale companies in fields similar to VHT.

+) Experience leading research groups, national key laboratories, or prestigious science and technology academic organizations domestically or internationally.

+) Candidates holding Research Team Leader positions at major corporations in the same domain (Google, Samsung, ZTE, Qualcomm, etc.).

Principal Level:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics–Informatics, Electronics and Telecommunications, or related fields. Candidates with a Master’s or PhD degree are preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of in-depth experience in telecommunications development, communication systems, and Signal Processing algorithm research.
• Experience in developing Signal Processing systems on DSP / FPGA / GPU platforms.
• Experience participating in building design requirements for Signal Processing problems across different domains.
