MasterControl Solutions, Inc. in Salt Lake City, UT is hiring a Senior Software Engineer. Minimum requirements are a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology, or a closely related field, or foreign equivalent degree, plus: 5 years of experience with Java development; 2 years of experience with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed applications; 2 years of experience with Spring Boot or Spring Framework applications; 2 years of experience implementing user interface features using HTML, CSS, and either Angular or React; 2 years of experience with message queue technologies and event-driven systems; 2 years of experience leading engineering teams and driving software engineering best practices; 2 years of experience with authentication and authorization for enterprise applications using protocols OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT, and SSO; 2 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining production systems with a focus on scale, reliability, and operational excellence; 2 years of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and Operations; 2 years of experience with SQL databases and Hibernate; and 2 years of experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS or Google Cloud Platform), Jenkins, and messaging systems. Location: Salt Lake City, Utah with telecommuting available from any U.S. location. Travel to company headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah is required twice per year, for one week per trip.
