Experience: 2 years of experience in software development, robotics, machine learning or related field. Requires skills and experience to involve:
Theoretical knowledge and coursework of advanced computer science concepts, like data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
Proficient in code programming and software development.
Knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.
Knowledge of robotics amassed through coursework and projects.
Practical experience of developing ML models and building applied ML systems.
Proficient in ML tools like PyTorch and Cuda.
Job duties: Design, develop, and program software systems that control robotic platforms, including autonomous vehicle motion planning systems. Conduct research and develop machine learning algorithms and models to support robotic system capabilities such as motion planning and motion forecasting. Design and implement engineered motion forecasting systems as part of autonomous robotic vehicle control systems. Evaluate and improve robotic system performance by developing and utilizing software tools to analyze system behavior, identify defects, and implement corrective solutions. Lead development projects to enhance robotic system functionality and performance, including deployment of software improvements across operational robotic platforms. Write, debug, and maintain programming code for robotic applications, including onboard and offboard motion planning software systems. Develop and implement debugging, visualization, and analytical tools to support validation, testing, and optimization of robotic system performance. Conduct testing, validation, and ongoing maintenance of robotic systems and associated software to ensure reliability, safety, and efficiency. Document robotic system development, testing, and modifications, and provide technical support for robotic applications as needed.
