Site Safety Manager

Omaha, NE Area (Project-Based | On-Site | Full-Time)

We’re looking for a Site Safety Manager to support upcoming and active construction projects in the Omaha area. This is a full-time, on-site role working directly with field teams, subcontractors, and project leadership to maintain a safe and compliant job site.

This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable being in the field daily, can operate independently, and knows how to hold the line on safety while keeping projects moving.

 
What You’ll Do
Maintain a strong on-site safety presence throughout the duration of the project
Conduct daily safety walks, audits, and hazard assessments
Lead site orientations and toolbox talks for crews and subcontractors
Monitor high-risk work (electrical, LOTO, hot work, confined space, working at heights, etc.)
Enforce OSHA standards and site-specific safety requirements
Partner with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to proactively address risks
Investigate incidents and near-misses, and drive corrective actions
Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports, and compliance records
Promote a culture of accountability and safe work practices across the job site
 
What We’re Looking For
CHST preferred or ~5+ years of equivalent safety management experience
Background in construction or similar field-based environments
OSHA 30 (Construction) preferred
Strong field presence and ability to work directly with crews and subcontractors
Ability to operate independently and make real-time decisions on active job sites
Solid communication skills and a practical, solutions-oriented mindset
