Description
The Poolside Food Runner plays a key role in creating a seamless, relaxing member experience. This position supports servers and chefs by delivering food and beverages promptly, maintaining a clean and organized pool eating area, and ensuring members feel cared for throughout their visit. It's a fast-paced, member-facing role perfect for someone energetic, attentive, and hospitality-minded.Responsibilities and Duties:
- Remove dirty utensils and replenish, as needed
- Clean and reset tables after guests leave
- Act as the contact point between Front of House and Back of the House staff
- Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas
- Deliver orders from the kitchen to member tables rapidly and accurately
- Inform restaurant staff about member feedback or requests (asking for the check etc.)
- Helping servers restock all necessary materials to make it through the day.
- Assist servers by running dishes, restocking supplies, and clearing tables or lounge areas
- Maintain cleanliness of all eating areas, including wiping surfaces, removing used items, and organizing service stations
Requirements:
- At least 6 months of Food and Beverage experience
- Excellent communication skills, able to multitask and the desire to work with and learn from an amazing team
- You must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift 20 pounds, and be available to work weekends and most holidays
- Must work well under pressure, be punctual and professional and be excited to join a team of coworkers dedicated to detail
- Must have experience, a positive attitude, be punctual and be a team player
- Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
- Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long period
- Must have a current food handlers' card, or able to obtain one
